Found His Mittens

Another year, another Zoo Day.  I had fun.  I got some nice shots I couldn’t get last year.  It was hot, and I only stayed about four hours.

Ohhhh pretty!

Funny, the female doesn’t seem to be impressed.

This aquarium button on my camera came in handy. Unfortunately, just after this picture my battery died.

I had a lion picture pretty much like this one last year.  But this year I had to climb a rock, balance on it, and hold the camera up over my head just to take this shot.  So you have to admire it.

Some kid was trying to get the kitty to come over. If he had gotten a better look at those teeth and eyes, I think he would have kept quiet.   This is an ocelet.

Bat eared fox. Last year he ran and ran and ran and ran in circles.  I was happy to see him looking calmer this year.

What are YOU lookin at?

This vulture did not have a screen over the top of his cage.  This bothered me, apparently he can’t fly out.  Are his wings clipped?  Does he need more ground space to get into the air?  Poor vulture.

These guys seemed to have fun playing together.

They are fighting here.

These capuchin monkeys were not visible last year so I was happy to see them.  They loved these blue balls. They also liked to drink water out of the balls.

Try not to to look at the Amish.  They don’t like their picture taken. Ooops.
