Christmas Season 2009
No posts for over a month. That’s partly due to Christmas presents, partly due to busy-ness.
Here is my niece, Avery, at Thanksgiving playing with the free stickers and stamps I brought her:
And my mother and my cat, napping together:
My new plates, all set up in the kitchen:
And my brand new cabinet, my Christmas present!
Bailey wanted it for himself.
I made the Top Down Baby Jacket from Plymouth Yarn, #1560. It was indeed a simple pattern, and didn’t take long to do. I adjusted the pattern to do the arms in the round. Also, the pattern picture shows three buttons, but the instructions only have one button. I left it as one button, this time. I’m sure I’ll make it again. I used Berroco Comfort yarn, worsted weight. It’s half nylon, half acrylic, and amazingly soft.
I made a couple more Saturday market bags in the round using modifications detailed on the Knit with Me blog. I used Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece again, made with wool and cotton.
I also made two of the Snowbuddies, with one more to go.
