Working Hard or Hardly Working
I’m working on my first knitted baby blanket. It’s exactly half done now. Only took 2+ weeks, and the mommy is in labor right now! I really need to speed this up. Grrr. I’m using knitpicks yarn, a washable worsted weight. It really is fun to make, though, and I love the lacy pattern.
I finished the baby sweater last month. It is supposed to fit a one year old but seems kinda large. I used Lornas Laces Shepherd Sock, color Jeans. Lovely soft yarn. Took about 1.5 skeins.
My parents were here last weekend for Easter. We had a great time. My cat really enjoyed the visit, too.
After they left I pulled out this table runner Mom gave me. We think Dad got it as a gift. It’s from Germany. It fits my new sofa table perfectly, see?
