I’ve been busy with numerous projects, but just finished two.

Here’s a second Little Sprout moss hat from Magknits.  I’m hoping it will fit approximately a three year old head. Of note, it took the entire ball of Plymouth Jelli Beenz.  I have maybe a yard left.

Here is the earlier hat, on a real live newborn, Grayson.  I guess it did fit pretty well after all.

I finished off some newborn booties for him.  This is the Hans Og Grete booties from Dalegarn. I made the girlier version for my niece about a year and a half ago.  I only had a yard left of the Baby Ull yarn when I was finished, I was really expecting to run out too soon.

And I’m still hard at work on the Alpine Lace Scarf.

This is a button hat made with Rowan Soft Baby.

And this is the free Magknits Little Sprout moss stitch hat, made with Jelli Beenz by Plymouth yarn.  Newborn size, but seems awfully small.  I hope the baby has a smallish head.

Current Projects

I haven’t been posting any knitting pics, but I have actually been working on a lot of stuff. Here’s some pictures of works in progress.

This is my Alpine Lace Scarf, from Victorian Lace Today. I just finished with the bottom border section. and I’m getting the hang of this, I think. I can’t wait to block it out on my new blocking wires.

I’m also working on this denim pinafore from Simple Knits for Little Cherubs. I’m about 1/3 done. It’ll shrink and fade just like real denim!

And nice wool gloves, just for ME, from Not Just Socks. First glove done. Second glove is my takealong project, for when I plan to knit in a public place. Made with sock yarn, Lana Grossa Meilenweit Fantasy I think.

I’m also playing with this yarn. I couldn’t figure out what to do with it so I’m making a simple scarf. The yarn is Prisma. Lovely colors, not soft at all. Maybe it’ll be better after I wash and block it.
