Found His Mittens

Luke has… muscles. And a tight ass. Am I allowed to say that about a Christmas tree ornament?

My new topper! My Christmas tree is complete. Well, plus it has Luke Skywalker now.

This is a little shirt called Sugar and Spice #193 by Minnowknits. I used Manos del Uruguay cotton Stria, one ball of grape and one ball of cream to make the 1 year size. This shirt took two days to complete! I spent some of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day working on it. The yarn is so pretty and soft it was fun to work with.

This is another Jayne hat, but girl-sized.   I expect I’ll probably be keeping it for myself.

Here’s a new baby hat. It will probably fit age 8-15 months. Made with Rowan Soft Baby, I think.

Here are some hats I made for Christmas last year and this year. I’ve learned a lot since last year.

Too big.

Way too big.

Just right. Ain’t they cunning? Awwww.

I also made two potpourri vases with cinnamon, icicle lights, and doilies. I was able to keep the cost down between $2 and $5. The doilies were fun to make, I used the Petite Autumn Doily from Crochet Memories.

My brand new, $200 prelit spruce.  At the bottom is my brand new tree skirt, one of those Bucilla felt/sequin/bead patterns.  I just finished making it over Thanksgiving.  I also made two hats and a pair of mittens over thanksgiving, with Noro silk garden.
