My new tree skirt, finished just in time!
This is my baby crib mobile. It’s broken, and thirty-five years old and we’re keeping the characters for tree ornaments.
Wool Soaker Is a Hit
Violet’s mom says it really does keep her dry, doesn’t leak, and really is self-cleaning, so it stays fresh for days. Amazing.
Entrelac Scarf
The scarf took less than a week to make, so it WAS a fun project. Entrelac could get annoying, perhaps, but not right away. I can see myself doing entrelac again sometime. I made the knitty.com Danica scarf, with two balls Debbie Bliss cashmerino aran grey and two balls Cashsoft Aran black. Both are like 55% merino, 10% cashmere, and 33% microfiber. It has an amazing softness and sheen to it. I had to pick different brands because Debbie Bliss is not very popular right now, due to their vender problems.
